Phoebus finished the decade of the ‘00s as the team of the decade?

Phoebus won five State Championships in Division 5 for the decade, and had an overall record of 120-12. Phoebus won the State Championship as an undefeated team three times over the past ten years. In their 12 losses over that span, ten of them were at the hands of Peninsula District opponents. Their only non-PD losses for the decade were a 2003 loss to Indian River in the Eastern Region final and a 2007 loss to Stone Bridge in the State Championship game. Phoebus hasn’t lost a regular season non-district since a 35-10 loss to Hampton High School on October 20, 2006.
