Quinta (Quin-tay) Funderburk might be the best wide out in the 2011 class. He has prototypical size and speed for a college Wide Receiver He has already played with one of the top Quarterbacks in the country, so he’s used to catching balls with zip on them. Funderburk is skilled at catching deep balls, making catches in traffic, and gaining yards after the catch. He will be Oscar Smith’s number one option at WR in 2010 and should easily lead them to another playoff appearance. The only questions for OSHS are who will throw to Funderburk and how far will they advance in the postseason? Funderburk was voted first team All-Southeastern District, first team All-Eastern Region and second team All-State at Wide Receiver for the 2009 season.
