Phillips will soon become a man amongst boys with the right strength training and coaching. He still has two seasons of high school football to play and he’s well on his way to having the size to play at the college level. Phillips projects well as an interior D-lineman in college. Bayside is a team on the rise who took many Beach District teams by surprise in 2009. That won’t be the case in 2010. With a sophomore QB and many key players returning, the Bayside Marlins could easily improve on their 2009 season where they lost in the Division 6 Regional Semifinal.
