Coach Mike Smith

Smith has coached the Crabbers for 39 years now, claiming twelve State Championships and a 408-64-2 record over that span. Over the years, Coach Smith has coached some famous players including Ronald Curry (UNC, Oakland Raiders), Michael Husted (UVA, Tampa Bay Bucs), Tyrod Taylor (VA Tech), Elton Brown (UVA, Arizona Cardinals) and Dwight Stephenson (Alabama, Miami Dolphins). Smith will return to coach Hampton High School for his 40th season in 2010.
