Haislip will likely be the defensive captain for the Tabb Tigers in 2010.  Haislip is an effective defender against the run and pass as an inside linebacker, plus he has good hands at tight end.  At the college level he'll likely find himself at linebacker where his pass catching experience will serve him well.  Haislip doesn't quite have the speed to be an outside backer, but he is still growing and will likely fill the role of inside backer very well in the college game.  Ian has gotten early interest from Virginia, Virginia Tech and NC State, and will very likely have many offers as the football season approaches.   With a big senior year, Haislip should solidify his value as a BCS level player.
