Romero will be the senior leader for the Phoebus defense in 2010. Phoebus has won back-to-back State Championships in Division 5, and they’ll be the odds on favorite to win it all again. Romero needs a little more size to be a prototypical defensive end at the college level. With a little more growing he’ll be there or he’ll make the transition to outside linebacker in college. Romero was picked to the first team All-Peninsula District, first team All-Eastern Region and first team All-State at defensive end as a junior in 2009. Romero holds several BCS level offers already.
